In the unfortunate event of an accident, remember the following important guidelines:

1. Take care of/get help for the injured
2. Do not admit liability in any circumstances
3. Take down all the particulars of the other driver/s or persons/witnesses involved –
   Name, Identification No, Vehicle Registration, Insurance Details and Contact Details
4. Notify Ritchie’s Rentals immediately
5. Do not have the vehicle towed away unless authorized by Ritchie’s Rentals
6. Report the incident immediately to the South African Police – make sure to obtain a Police reference number

We offer fully comprehensive insurance with all our rental vehicles, whereby your maximum financial liability is R4000 ( your deposit which is our insurance excess), any damage under that value would be for your account.
